The Bridge Capillaire is a high tech hair replacement system invented by Mr. Fabrice PERREY in 1994. Since then, the Bridge has continued to be improved both in terms of comfort and aesthetics. It consists in distributing the selected additional hair, weaving it at the root into a fine linear base which is then worked differently depending on the cranial areas to be covered. The base is made by working cord into criss-crossing linked mesh, tailored with a very precise technique; particularly in sensitive areas such as the top of the head and frontal hairline. The custom design of the bridge is entirely hand-made by the specialist in the Paris office. The preparation of the linear base requires, on average, between 100- 200 hours of preparation. The posing and distribution are done directly on the person during the day of the intervention. (5-12 hours depending on the case). The life span of a bridge is usually about 3 years but can last much longer if one takes care. (The record currently being 8 years).

The natural hair selected is European , 100% premium quality human hair that has not been tampered with by any chemical treatment or coloration. The directional grain of each hair is verified as to avoid undisentanglable knots during shampooing. (No upside down hair) To start with, each hair is the same length so it is not necessary to have an over-amplified base in order to get good volume on the ends. (no "wig" effect) All components of the bridge are rot-resistant and hypoallergenic. 100% "Made in France".
2 / Scalp Hygiene
With its airy design, the bridge allows the scalp to "breathe"and able to be shampooed thus avoiding the accumulation of sebum, dry scalp, constant itching, and many sources of dermatological dilemmas. Because of the fastening using E.D.M.P. no adhesive is required. The bridge is integrated into the existing hair, so no head shaving is necessary. You will no longer see the difference between the bridge and your natural hair. Your remaining mass of hair is kept preserved.
3 / Finesse and miniaturization
Despite the subtleness of the straight-line base (down to the millimeter) the "hair by hair" weaving method provides very strong and durable resistance over time. With the fineness of materials used, the weight of the bridge is never more than a few grams hair, making it virtually undetectable to the touch.

The "Bridge Capillaire" can be adapted to all forms of balding. With thin or sparse hair that has severe baldness, it allows an impressive range of different hairstyles and adapts to every style and personality. Short hair to long hair...anything is possible.

WEAK POINTS OF THE BRIDGE:
Despite the technical prowess realized, not all the disadvantages have been completely resolved: Even though the bridge is attached with E.D.M.P.'s at the base of your remaining hair, when there is regrowth you will need to plan a "rendez-vous" with your specialist for a "tightening" of the E.D.M.P.'s. This maintenance session is usually done every 6 weeks depending on the speed of hair regrowth. The tightening session lasts about 2- 3 hours to allow time to verify the system and do necessary treatments for the durability of your hair. In the case of total absence of hair, usually on the front hairline*, attaching E.D.M.P is not possible, therefore it is necessary to use one or more bonding systems with a surface of about 3-4 centimeters.
* (When there is total absence of hair on the front hairline, you could consider a hair transplant session with a "competent" surgeon)
