Ectodermal Dysplasia
A Rare genetic anomaly, usually hereditary, the cause of a malfunction of the body or an anatomical structure normally absent from the ectoderm. Dysplasia is a developmental anomaly of an organ being accompanied by operational problems and spoilage thereof.
Symptoms:
Hair that is dry and sparse/thinning
Very thin skin
Anodontia (a partial or complete lack of teeth)
A characteristic facial dysmorphia (abnormally formed face)
Sudden partial or total loss of vision
Failure of the digestive system and pulmonary organs
Athelia, agenesis of the nipples,having no breasts and/or nipples.

A little over 14 years ago, I lived the happiest day of my life because I had just given birth to a beautiful boy; not knowing a long and hard fight was awaiting us because we soon realized that something was wrong. At the age of 2 years, the diagnosis was pronounced that he was suffering from "Ectodermal Dysplasia". This pathology affects the sweat glands, the absence of teeth, and very fine and thin hair.
